The comments in the last couple of days are so amazing & it is so incredible to hear how our "creations & love for paper" has inspired your "creations & love for paper", what an immense blessing for sure.

Pricegirl has asked about my setup for taking pics of my cards/projects....here goes :)

I always take pics of my cards/projects outside on a chair, using a white lace or linen tablecloth. I drape the tablecloth over the chair. The trick is to find the sunlight at the right angle in the morning & early afternoon. If the sun is just coming up, it will be directly to the side leaving too much shadow & each element will be shadowed. If you take it with sun directly above, say noon, it is too direct & washes out the colors. I generally take my pics at 10:00 a.m., give or take & 3:00 p.m., give or take. These are times according to the sunlight where I live, you may have to play with it. We are in the mountains & these times work for me. I don't rush my pics. If I am going to have bad weather in a couple of days but today & tomorrow are great weather days, I try to find the time to finish the project so as to get the pics in before there's weather. If I have created on days with weather, I wait to take pics until I have nice weather (no, it doesn't always work out, but I do try to keep that in-mind when deciding when to take pics) After taking the pics, I crop & sharpen in photoshop & then get them labeled & either sent off or placed in a folder for when I need to send them off.

Long explanation, but it's really timing & the white back drop.

Thank you so much for the question, I really hope it's explicable & that you find times that work for your projects.

hugs & love!
danni

I like small projects as my time for scrapbooking is shared with homeschooling, quilting, parenting, knitting, and other activities.

I am also a christian woman who has been sooooo blessed by the scripture challenge.

Please enter me in your drawing and thank you so much for sharing your gifts with us....
