Sketch 22: Cards, Tags, & Altered Art

Good Saturday morning!!! Before I share the DT samples for Sketch 22, I wanted to take a minute to share with you what people are saying about Triple the Sketch:

"Thanks again for the amazing inspiration your sketches are....love em, love em, love em!! Hugs and God Bless, and thanks again!!!" JA

"Layouts, cards and altered items ALL FROM THE SAME SKETCH!!! THAT IS JUST BRILLIANT!!! I don't believe I have seen that anywhere else although I have personally taken sketches and used them to alter. I am totally impressed!!! I will be coming to you often." WW

"I am really grateful for TTS. It's really helped me accomplish and reach a level of creativity I never thought I'd reach on my own. I just look at the completed projects in semi-disbelieft that I made that! All with the help of TTS and God, the Creator of course!! Thank you so much for doing TTS!"
KP

"Your sketches are wonderful!!! I'm bookmarking you." TH

This is just a small sampling of the e-mails and comments we get! Thank you all for taking the time to write, and we love getting comments on the blog too. We also will have some changes coming in the future. The design team and I are talking about that now so be on the lookout! :)

Now onto our samples for today using Sketch 22. We have cards, a tag, and an altered box for you today! And lots of fun elements/techniques too--fabric, stamping, mesh, sewing, etc. How about trying to use something new on a card this week? Maybe some fabric? Give it a try, and post your link back here. We would love to see what new things you try using our sketches.

Sorry!

Okay, for two weeks in a row now I have noticed that Feedblitz has sent out the updates to Triple the Sketch an entire day late. I am SO sorry! So, I have just changed my distribution schedule so that I can send it when I want instead of on their schedule (which doesn't seem to be working). Anyway, you should be getting this note now and the card post below. Make sure you read it because I have three RAKs to give away! :) And you should have gotten the layout post earlier this morning in another e-mail. Again, sorry you are getting on a goofy schedule. It shouldn't happen anymore since I have changed the distribution. Enjoy, and happy crafty weekend!

Sketch 21: Cards & Altered Art

Happy Weekend everyone! I would like to start off by saying thank you again for enjoying our sketches each and every week! Our subscriber numbers continue to grow, and the messages you send to us are very encouraging! Thank you! And because I have been gone almost this entire month and I am in a "give-away" mood, I have decided last minute to have a RAK drawing! How does that sound? So, here is what I will be giving away, and here is what you have to do to enjoy the fun:

Three lucky winners will either win a newly released 6x6 paper pad of Basic Grey Ambrosia, a newly released 6x6 paper pad of Basic Grey Offbeat, or a gorgeous unmounted rubber stamp from Unity Stamp Co. called Everlasting Romance. This is a deeply etched rubber stamp that will fit on your larger acrylic blocks and will work for scrapbook pages, cards, and altered items. So, what do you have to do to win one of these fun items?

**First, create anything from Shanna's amazing sketch this week (Sketch 21).
**Second, post a link to your creation here in this comment section. Only those that have a link posted here will be entered into the drawing.
**Links must be posted here in this comment thread by 11:59 p.m. Central Wednesday, August 27th.
**Three lucky winners will be picked from a random drawing of all entries. Winners will be announced with our Friday posting of Sketch 22! Good luck everyone, and we can't wait to see what you do with Shanna's sketch! :)

Now onto our cards for this week. We have four absolutely stunning cards and another gorgeous ATC card done by Traci. The team is always thinking of creative ways to use the elements on each sketch, and I love seeing what they come up with each week. I hope you do too!

Today we have such fun goodies for you! We have cards, a tag, and an ATC card for you--all from Sketch 20! I absolutely love everything the team did here. Everything is SO yummy! Look how differently everyone used the elements from the sketch. I love how Danni chose to use stitching and buttons where the ribbon was on the sketch. And Carrie's use of patterned paper and brads where the shaped paper was on the sketch is such a great idea! Everyone's work just makes me want to come home from vacation and start creating!

Sketch 19: Layouts

This week we have a fun sketch for you with three blocks that can be used for photos, journaling blocks, or even removed from the design to add embellishments or other fun elements. Here is Sketch 19 for you:For the layouts using this sketch, you will see how Elizabeth and Hope used different sized pictures on their layouts but each chose to still use 3 photos. Chelsea also used three photos but look how she changed it up a bit. Love it! Renee used the sketch to make a 2-page layout, and Danni chose to only use two pictures and put a larger journaling box. And look at the different sized layouts we have for you today--12x12 layouts, 8 1/2 x 11 layouts, and a 9x9 layout. Wow, I just love the versatility!

8 1/2 x 11 Layout by Hope
12x12 Layout by Chelsea

I hope these inspire you, and we can't wait to see your layouts too. Be sure to link them in the comments section here, and we will see you tomorrow with cards and other goodies! Happy Friday!
