Today we would love to share our cards done with Sketch 3. Hope, Patter, Marcee, and Traci completed cards for this week. Look at the difference sizes and shapes of cards that everyone made. I hope that you are truly able to see the versatility with our sketches each week as we share. Enjoy, and watch for those tags and altered items tomorrow!
Card by Hope Card by Patter Card by Marcee Card by Traci
I like Patter's scalloped card it looks really elegant.
I'm curious to know how Marcee frayed the edges and did the rest of the distressing on her card. I know the folders she sued and have been so tempted to buy them!
Hi Ziggy- After punching 2 brown squared from cardstock and embossing, I distressed the edges with Tonic Studios - Tim Holtz - Paper Distresser. I also have a Paper Distreser by MM and it is fabulous too. I then lightly brushed(straight from the pad)Tsukineko - Dew Drop Brilliance Fast Drying Pigment Ink in Moonlight White on top of the embossing. If you have any other questions, please don't hesitate to ask!:)
Don't you all just love all the different ideas from one simple sketch?! Patter, you've really outdone yourself - my RAK was HUGE! It was like Christmas at my house when it came. I can't believe the variety, quality and sheer number of great products you included. I can't wait to use it all :) Michele

Triple the Sketch blog was created by Patter Cross. We were the first sketch site of its kind to take a simple sketch and use it to create layouts of any size, cards, tags, and even altered art. These sketches are not structured, they will not limit your creativity in any way, and they can be flipped or used in any way you are inspired! The amazing design team will show you how versatile these sketches can be!
New sketches will be posted on Fridays! Subscribe to the blog, and they will be sent to your mailbox! Don't forget to grab a blinkie, and use them in your signatures where you can.
