3 Days!!! Can You Believe It?

I can't believe we will reveal our first sketch and design team work in just 3 days! The team is SO excited to share with you! I wanted to take a moment to thank you all for your excitement for Triple the Sketch, for spreading the word, and for waiting patiently for our first sketch! You are what will make our site thrive! Thank you to all of you! :)

Now a little bit about how we will do things. After much thought, I have decided to post sketches on Fridays along with the layouts the team has created. Then on Saturdays the cards completed by the team will be revealed, and on Sundays the tags and altered items will be revealed. This way you will have something fun to inspire you and something to create all weekend long each and every weekend! How is that for inspiration? :) We will also have labels and categorize all of the layouts together, cards together, and tags/altered items together. That way you will be able to easily reference what you are looking for! Feel free to give us feedback on how this works for everyone. We want this site to inspire each of you so let us know how you like it!

And remember, if you want to be eligible for one of three RAKs that will be given away on Friday, you must be a subscriber to the blog! So, you have until Thursday to register. :) We can't wait until Friday!!!!!!

Welcome to Triple the Sketch! We are excited to debut our first sketch on April 4, 2008! Triple the Sketch is the creation of Patter Cross. She named the site Triple the Sketch for two reasons. First, our very simple sketches are to be used as a springboard to inspire you to create at least three different pieces (cards, layouts, and tags). Patter also has identical triplets so creating things in threes comes only natural to her. Our sketches will not limit your creativity in any way. These sketches are not structured. Use any page size, card size, tag size, adjust the sketch as needed, or even use it as an element on part of a layout or altered art. The amazing design team will show you how versatile these sketches can be!

Since we have three weeks until our big debut, we will spend that time letting you get to know our amazing design team. Each Friday, beginning March 14th through March 28th, three of our design team members will be highlighted so that you can get to know them! They are amazing designers and women. I am sure you will be inspired by each of them! You don't want to miss the next three weeks!

And if you subscribe to our blog, you will be entered into a RAK for some amazing scrapping goodies! Those of you that subscribe to Triple the Sketch between March 13th and April 3rd will be eligible for the RAK. A picture will be posted next week sometime, and the winner will be announced on April 4th, the day of our first sketch posting! So, be sure to subscribe to the blog so you will never miss a sketch!
