I know I will continue to see some of you on my blog, Triple the Scraps, and I hope you will continue to follow the amazing design team girls too! Sketches 73 & 74, a Blog Hop, and Our Goodbye!

Welcome to another week of fun sketches here at TTS! Before I share what we will be doing here on TTS today and tomorrow, I must tell you about a decision that I have had to make. It is with much regret that I have decided to close Triple the Sketch. In April, I was called to a new position in Bible Study Fellowship. It is an amazing opportunity but it will keep me very busy thus I will have to cut back on some of my design work to do what He has called me to do. The team and I truly appreciate ALL you for sticking by us and joining in on the fun since April 2008! I can't believe we have grown to over 1,100 subscribers!!!! I will continue to share my design work, my organizational posts, my Tuesday's Tips, the His Holy Name challenge, the Scripture challenge, and other creations on my personal scrappy blog--Triple the Scraps. I also will continue to share my sketches but probably on a monthly basis without design team samples on my scrappy blog, Triple the Scraps (not Sketch). I am thinking of doing a "Saturday's Sketch" post once a month. :) I just don't have the time to keep up with both sites anymore. I pray you all understand and that you will thank the team for their AMAZING and dedicated work for the past 1 1/2 years! These women have been a blessing to me and each other! Thank you girls, and thank you to our subscribers!

So, what are we going to do today and tomorrow? We are going to share our last four sketches via a blog hop! Today we are sharing Sketches 73 and 74. Sketch 69: Layouts

For this weekend's post, we are SO very excited to debut both Jen and Rebekah's work for the first time. They are our new designers, and we are so excited to have them! Today you will see Jen's layout, and tomorrow we will share Rebekah's altered book along with all of the other amazing design team creations!

I actually created today's sketch from a layout of mine that I did for Jillibean Soup. I thought the layout would make a fun sketch, so I worked in reverse--layout first then this sketch. :) I hope you like it! I love how the design team really made the sketch their own. Everyone's creations looks so different yet so perfect! So many different and fun designs! We also have many different sizes for you today--a 2-page layout, 12x12, 8 1/2 x 11, and an 8x8. Let's look!

Welcome back to another week at TTS! I hope you had fun playing with our previous sketches last week while we took some time off! Though we were off, we were busy lining up two new designers for TTS! I am SO excited to be able to introduce them to you this week. They are Jen and Rebekah! Rebekah loves to work with fabric, and she makes beautiful blankets and all sorts of goodies. And her papercrafting skills are gorgeous! You can see Rebekah's blog here. Jen is another fabulous papercrafter and has a photography business and wonderful etsy site. You can find Jen's blog here! Now onto our sketch for today, Sketch 64! This week's sketch leaves lots of room for tiny pictures, scrap paper, embellies, whatever you come up with to fill the space!
Look at what the design team did with the sketch! Wow! They used photos in space of the small squares, circles, strips of patterned paper, etc. And many of them turned the sketch too. So very unique, fun, stunning, and creative!

Oh my goodness! You all created some AMAZING pieces this week using Sketch 63. I went through each submission and commented where I could. A few of you had sites where I couldn't leave comments. So sorry! Anyway, WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Thank you all for playing along. I wish I could have picked at least 10 winners! However, since I could only pick one, our winning entry came from Christy!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Look at her amazing layout: Look at all of the great elements she put on here! Whew, I wasn't sure I would get this post out today. We had bad storms last night which included a tornado hitting about 1-2 miles from us and dime- to golf-ball sized hail. We all took shelter in the bathroom (along with the 3 dogs), and after it was all over, I didn't sleep very well. Today is going to be a bit slower for me I think.

Sketch 59: Layouts

This week, we have a very fun layout that will help you use up those scraps! So grab your scraps and let's look at Sketch 59: Imagine all of the squares of scraps you can use up here. Fun! And this week, I love how the design team each used the squares so uniquely. And look at the placement of the squares. Alisa flipped the sketch; Elizabeth put all of her scrap squares to the left of her page; Marcee put them at the bottom; and Susan used the top section for her title. So fun and unique! Ember has some wonderful mission opportunities coming up, and she also will have more time to spend with her family, thus she will be stepping down. I have loved having Ember on the team. And to address Beth's comment about sketches using 3-5 pictures, ironically today's sketch does allow for 3 pictures. I hope you like it! :) However, if you notice a lot of our designers will use many photos even when there is only "space" for one. Or for instance today, even though there is space for 3 photos, Ember chose to use one photo. That's what's so fun about our sketches. They don't dictate what you can and can't use. I allow the design team to do whatever they want with the sketches. I want them to show how versatile they are, and they certainly do that AMAZINGLY! I hope you enjoy that about our sketches!

Welcome to our last sketch for February! Sketch 46 has some fun horizontal strips, and space for as many photos as you desire! Look how the designers used the strips. Chelsea tilted them on her page. Danielle W. tore a hole in the middle of a larger piece of paper to "reveal" the strips. Elizabeth moved her focus to the bottom of the page with a horizontal photo, and Marcee used three strips and tore the ends. So fun, and so different from each of them! Sketch 45: Layouts

Happy Friday everyone! I have exciting news to share with everyone today! First, Danielle W. and Tanis (our new designers) are sharing their work for the first time using Sketch 45. You will see Tanis' card tomorrow, and Danielle W.'s amazing layout is below!

Then, I have brought on three more designers. I am SO excited to welcome Alisa, Gloria, and KellyJean! You will see their work starting in mid-March or so. Be sure to visit their blogs in the mean time and check out their amazing work. We are SO glad to have each of them! Welcome girls!

And our wonderful designer, Traci, has had to step down. You haven't seen her work in a while as she has had to put family first. Well, now they are going to be making a move to another state, so she had to step down from TTS. We are truly going to miss her, and we were blessed with the creations she was able to share with us! We will miss you Traci!

Sketch 44: Layouts

Well, I start today off with sad news. We have two of our amazing designers leaving us today! Carrie and Hope have both had to move on due to family and other commitments. These girls are amazing, and they both started this journey with me in March 2008. I can never thank them enough for all they have done for TTS and for their stunning work that they have shared each week over the past year!!! Thank you girls for all you have done! We will truly, truly miss you!!!! Please wish them both well either in the comment section here or on Carrie's blog here and Hope's blog here. Love ya girls! And on a fun note, Carrie will have two of her TTS layouts published in two upcoming Scrapbook Trends issues. Be sure to look for her TTS layouts in the June and July 2009 issues! Congrats girl!

Before, I share our cards today, I want to tell you that I am so excited for Danielle's debut!!! If you remember, Danielle Holsapple joined us about a month ago; however, she needed time to jump in and get on our schedule! I am pleased to announce that she is officially in the rotation and creating for Triple the Sketch! And no, you are not confused. I did just hire another Danielle last week. So, you will have to watch closely when Danielle Wycough begins to share her creations since we will have two Danielle's here at TTS. :) I will always include their last initial so hopefully that will help keep everyone straight!
